About Us
Kurt Boyd
Starting his dental journey back in 2003 and qualifying as a Dental Prosthetist in 2008, Kurt has worked in commercial Dental Laboratories, the public sector and also in multiple private clinics. By taking the move to digital, Kurt is now providing more treatment options to the dental community.
Carl Boyd
Carl started his Diploma of Dental Technology in 2009 and worked in the Family business until 2016. After a 6 year break and a year in a commercial dental laboratory, Carl has rejoined the family business, enjoying the new world of Digital Dental Technology.
Smile Care Denture Clinic
Operating since 1984, Smile Care was established by our father, Neil Boyd who has been in the industry since 1973.
In 2022 Smile Care expanded its interest into the digital world opening Smile Care Digital Studio. By utilizing the latest in milling, 3D printing and scanning, this now enables us to offer a variety of dental appliances to patients, practitioners and laboratories.
Both Kurt and Carl continue to further their knowledge in the digital realm by attending courses, classes and conventions as often as they can as the digital world is constantly evolving.
